Lady Gaga,
Kivandeni Orphan Children Foster care (KOCFC) began in 2000 but officially registered in June 2003 as a as CBO: legally registered with Ministry of Gender, Sports, Culture and Social Services Number KTI/DDS/S/H/G/11345. KOCFC a Christian humanitarian community based organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities in Kenya to reach their full potential by tracking the cause of poverty and injustice, and restoration of Orphans/Street children. Lately KHOFC have identified 350 children on foster care progrmmes in several schools. The community based and integrated approaches are the main strategies through which KHOFC strives to improve the lives of the Street/orphans children. As a community based organization dedicated to bringing hope through its educational, health, basic needs and Vocational training school programs, aimed at 1,500 children, to train and equip many women as we can .We formed KOCFC to bring hope to the women by providing adult education and to the orphaned, street children and children from impoverished families by providing love and care in a Christian environment.
Our Vision
Holistic Empowerment of women in Kenya-Africa. The Vision of KHOFC, believes that girls and boys shall live in a society, which provides them with the right to survive, develop, participate in decision-making and enjoy special protection against all forms of discrimination and exploitation. “Rebuilding the lives of orphans/ Street/orphans children as God originally intended.”
Its Mission is: To restore orphans/ Street/orphans children and reconcile them with God and with their guardians/ families, empowering them to become productive members of the society.”
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF OUR ORGANIZATION:
The goal of KHOFC is to provide formal and informal education to Orphans/Street/orphans children and to rehabilitate them within their families /guardians.
The broad objectives of the organization to be achieved by December 2013:
KOCFC Core Values believes that:
(a)Children are equal partners in all actions concerning their well-being and development.
Children grow in environment that guarantees them their full rights to survival, development, protection and participation.
Families are the basic unit of care and nurturing for a child but NGOs, Civil society and Government must support in this task.
Every child is entitled to equality and justice, irrespective of sex, age, color, creed, religion, ability or disability.
It is the duty of the government to provide an enabling environment and institutional framework for the full realization of children s rights in Kenya

At KOCFC, there is an underlying respect for all, demonstrated by an open, honest and inclusive acceptance of its clients, staff, Board and supporters.
EXCELLENCE IN PROGRAMMING AND SERVICES KOCFC
Is committed to excellence in programming and services, through innovative curricula that foster critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and empowerment. We cultivate an environment where one can develop strength of mind, practice effective communication, and pursue personal growth.

Funding sources:
Entirely KOCFC has been basically relaying on funds from Kitui County council in Kenya and extra monitory activities carried out by the organization including Health Care Services provision, soap making, Crafts and Farming.
